Luis Daniel Otero

Luis Daniel Otero is a tenured Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Systems Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology's College of Engineering and Science. He serves as Program Chair of Systems Engineering and Co-Director of the Center for Advanced Data Analytics and Systems (CADAS).

Research Interests: Focuses on model-based systems engineering (MBSE), simulation modeling, performance analysis, and process improvement for mission-critical and transportation systems.

Professional Affiliations: Active in INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering) with recognition of Florida Tech's Systems Engineering program through INCOSE Academic Equivalency and Corporate Advisory Board membership.
