Md Fashiar Rahman

Md Fashiar Rahman is Assistant Professor in Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering at UTEP's College of Engineering. He holds PhD and MS degrees in Computational Science from UTEP and a BS from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. His research makes significant contributions to image data mining, machine learning, and deep learning applications in industrial and healthcare domains.

Research expertise spans data analytics, computer modeling, AI in healthcare, smart manufacturing, computational intelligence, and quality technology. Current projects include developing AI diagnostics for medical imaging and simulation-based healthcare system optimization. Awarded 2023 Outstanding Junior Faculty Award by ASEE.
