Martine Ceberio is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where she also serves as the College of Engineering Associate Dean for People, Culture, and Environment, and Chair of UTEP’s Graduate Council. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Nantes, France. Her research focuses on decision-making under uncertainty, global optimization, constraint solving, and interval computations, with recent work on neural networks and their theoretical foundations. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring, having participated in programs like Google’s Faculty In Residence and led initiatives to broaden participation in CS, including mentoring female students and advising UTEP’s ACM-W chapter.
Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, University of Nantes, France.
Research Interests: Reliable decision-making under uncertainty, global optimization, constraint solving, interval computations, neural networks, and student success initiatives.
