Małgorzata Dmitryjuk

Małgorzata Dmitryjuk is a full-time Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM), Olsztyn, Poland. Her research spans parasitology, molecular biology, and biochemistry, with a focus on tick-borne pathogens, nematode metabolism, and carbohydrate dynamics in parasites like Ascaris suum, Neoehrlichia mikurensis, and Varroa destructor. She has published 79 articles and supervised 18 promoted theses, maintaining Hirsch indices of h=9 (Scopus) and h=11 (WoS). Her work integrates enzymology (e.g., trehalose metabolism) with ecological and clinical studies.
