Mayukh Dass is the James L. Johnson Chair of Business Administration and Senior Associate Dean at the Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University. He oversees Graduate Programs and directs the MS in Marketing Research & Analytics program. His roles include leadership in academic administration, strategic initiatives, and interdisciplinary research.
Education: PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Georgia, alongside dual MS degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Statistics, and a BEng in Electronics and Power Engineering from Nagpur University.
Research focuses on AI applications in marketing, brand engagement, and consumer behavior. Key themes include strategic marketing alliances, digital firm strategies, and antimicrobial resistance combat through USDA grants. Over 50 publications in top journals like Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Journal of Retailing.
Recipient of prestigious awards including the Chancellor's Council Distinguished Research Award (2013) and Rawls Integrated Scholar (2017). Active in leadership development as founder of the Scovell Business Leadership Program. Serves on Texas Tech Teaching Academy and advised 13 doctoral candidates.
Current projects include analyzing crowdfunding rhetoric, supply chain advertising ripple effects, and AI-driven B2B strategies. Lab affiliations include the Marketing Research & Analytics program and interdisciplinary tech initiatives.
