Professor Maysa Eissa Nichter is a faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She specializes in legal education, serving as director of UCSD's Krinsk-Houston Law & Politics Initiative and Local Internship Research Program. She advises UCSD's Moot Court team, Undergraduate Law Review, and Pre-Law Coalition. Her teaching focuses on legal reasoning, business law, contracts, and intellectual property. Prior to academia, she practiced intellectual property and corporate law at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP, and worked as a Staff Attorney at ChangeLab Solutions. She holds degrees from UC Berkeley School of Law and UCLA.
