May Abiad

Dr. May Abiad is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Maternal Fetal Care Center at Boston Children's Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on perinatal outcomes, fetal interventions, and maternal-fetal health optimization.

Education includes:

• Medical training in Lebanon
• Research training in epidemiology and biostatistics

Research examines safety and efficacy of obstetric interventions, including amnioreduction procedures and fetal surgical techniques. Recent studies analyze gestational outcomes in prenatal spina bifida repair and safety profiles of amniotic fluid reduction.
