Maximiliane Wilkesmann

Maximiliane Wilkesmann is a Heisenberg Professor of Work and Organizational Sociology at the Technical University of Dortmund's Faculty of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on the intersection of work, organizations, and knowledge, particularly in healthcare systems, digitalization, and professional ethics. She holds a PhD from Ruhr University Bochum (2009) and has served in academic leadership roles, including Deputy Chair of Economic and Industrial Sociology (2015–2018) and Temporary Chair of Social Structure and Sociology of Ageing Societies (2019–2020).
