Maximilian Schuh

Dr. Maximilian Schuh is a Lecturer at the Department for the History of the High and Later Middle Ages at Freie Universität Berlin. A Feodor-Lynen Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, his current research focuses on producing a critical edition of 14th-century English scholar William Merle's weather forecasting treatises De prognosticatione aeris and Regulae ad futuram aeris temperiem prognosticandam, addressing the marginalization of medieval Latin weather prognostication traditions. His work bridges philology, intellectual history, and environmental studies through collaboration with Ota Pavlíček's research group.
