Maximilian Reichert

Prof. Maximilian Reichert is a Professor of Translational Pancreatic Cancer Research at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), leading the Department of Internal Medicine II (Gastroenterology) at Klinikum rechts der Isar. He also serves as Head of the Center for Translational Pancreatic Cancer Research and the Pancreatic Cancer Patient Organoid Core. His research focuses on epithelial plasticity in pancreatic cancer, organoid models, and personalized oncology. Dr. Reichert holds a Medical Doctorate (summa cum laude) from TUM and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. His work spans clinical practice, translational research, and academic leadership.

Key roles include Board Director of the Center of Organoid Systems/TUM (COS) and membership in the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK).
