Maximilian Grüning

Maximilian Grüning is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Chair of Interorganizational Information Systems, Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Göttingen. He is also a visiting researcher at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, since 2023.

His educational background includes a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Göttingen, an M.Sc. in Management & Information Systems from the University of Münster, and a winter school at Toulouse Business School. He also participated in an exchange semester at California State University Monterey Bay.

His research interests span Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Technostress, Data Literacy, and Health Data Sharing. These areas reflect his focus on the intersection of technology, management, and healthcare systems.

Grüning has contributed to the academic community as a reviewer for leading journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems and Information & Management, as well as for major conferences including ICIS, ECIS, HICSS, AMCIS, and WI.

In teaching, he is involved in both bachelor and master programs, offering courses on Management of Digital Transformation, Data-Driven Innovation, and supervising theses at both levels.
