Prof. Dr. Maximilian A. Werkmüller, LL.M., is a Professor for Finance and Family Office Management at Allensbach University. His career bridges legal practice and academia, with expertise in inheritance law, tax-optimized asset succession, and family office structures.
- Dr. Werkmüller studied law at the Universities of Trier and Bonn, earned a doctorate in banking law (1996), and an LL.M. in Mergers & Acquisitions from the University of Münster (2005).
- He spent 14 years as in-house counsel at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG, later leading their family office service platform and managing the Brenninkmeyer family's German office.
