Maxime van der Heijden is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Her research focuses on advanced manufacturing of porous microstructures for electrochemical devices such as water electrolyzers and flow batteries. She bridges experimental and computational methods using imaging, machine learning, additive manufacturing, and device testing.
