معرفی
Maxime Breden is a tenured Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique, part of the CMAP research center. His work focuses on combining analytical and numerical methods to study nonlinear PDEs and dynamical systems, with a particular emphasis on computer-assisted proofs.
Education:
- PhD in Mathematics from ENS Cachan (France) and Université Laval (Canada), 2017
- Co-advised by Laurent Desvillettes and Jean-Philippe Lessard
Research Interests:
His research bridges theoretical analysis and computational methods, addressing problems in physics and biology. Key areas include rigorous numerical validation of solutions to PDEs and dynamical systems, with applications ranging from reaction-diffusion equations to biological models.
Professional Activities:
Recent engagements include speaking at the Laboratoire Paul Painlevé seminar (Dec 2022), the KWIM Conference in Konstanz (Feb-Mar 2023), SIAM DS 23 (May 2023), and the FoCM 2023 Computational Dynamics workshop in Paris (June 2023).
