Matthieu LERASLE is a Professor of statistics at ENSAE-CREST, part of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He is also a lecturer at École Polytechnique and heads the Master's program Math de l'Aléatoire in Orsay. His research focuses on mathematical statistics and statistical learning, with a particular emphasis on robust learning methods and the problem of matching.
He graduated from ENS Cachan and earned his thesis in mathematical statistics in Toulouse. Since 2011, he has been a research fellow at CNRS in Nice, moving to the Saclay plateau in 2016. His academic affiliations span multiple institutions, including his role as a specialist in statistical methodologies.
