Max Minden Ribeiro serves as an Affiliated Researcher in the Department of Philosophy at Lund University, specializing in theoretical philosophy with focus on perceptual experience and consciousness. He is an active member of both the CogComlab Profile Area (Natural and Artificial Cognition) and the Cognition & Philosophy VR Lab, holding room LUX:B478 at Helgonavägen 3, Lund.
His research centers on perceptual presence—the sense that perceived objects are actually present in the environment—and its implications for philosophy of mind. He explores how 20th-century analytic and phenomenological traditions address this concept, extending into memory, affectivity, and language studies.
