Mavromanolakis Antonis

Mavromanolakis Antonis is a Technical Scientist and Research Assistant at the Polymer and Colloid Science Group of IESL-FORTH. He holds a Bachelor of Physics (1997) and a Master of Microelectronics-Optoelectronics (2004) from the University of Crete, Greece. He has also been certified as an observer meteorologist (2001) and has extensive teaching experience, including roles as a high school science teacher (2005–2016) and lecturer at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete (2004–2011).

Research Interests: His work focuses on advanced spectroscopic techniques such as Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), Time of Flight spectroscopy, and nonlinear optics. His expertise extends to force sensing optical tweezers, temperature/pressure control systems using Arduino/Python, and materials characterization under extreme conditions.
