Maurizio Del Conte is a Full Professor of Labour Law at Bocconi University, Italy. He holds a PhD in European Labour Law from Università degli Studi di Pavia and a J.D. from Università degli Studi di Milano. His research focuses on Labour Law, Industrial Relations Law, Labour Market Regulation, and Comparative Labour Law.
He has held visiting professorships at the University of Richmond School of Law (USA), University of Kobe (Japan), and has lectured globally at institutions like Harvard Law School and the University of Tokyo. He serves on multiple editorial boards, including the journal Diritto delle relazioni industriali, and was previously Director of the Research Unit on Law and Economics Studies (RULES) at Bocconi's BAFFI Center.
Prof. Del Conte has held significant institutional roles, including President of AFOL Metropolitana (Milan Job Agency), President of the Agenzia Nazionale delle Politiche attive per il Lavoro (ANPAL) from 2016–2019, and adviser to the Italian Prime Minister on labour market reforms. His publications (2012–2013) analyze employer authority, unfair dismissal, disciplinary procedures, and collective bargaining dynamics in comparative legal frameworks.
