Mauri Kostiainen is a Full Professor at Aalto University's School of Chemical Engineering, where he leads research in biohybrid materials and nanotechnology. His work focuses on integrating biological and synthetic components to create advanced functional materials. Research interests include nanostructured biomaterials, sustainable nanocellulose production, and nanoparticle assembly for medical applications.
