Maureen Ritchey is Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Boston College, specializing in cognitive neuroscience of memory. She holds a PhD from Duke University and directs the Memory Modulation Lab.
Her research investigates neural mechanisms underlying episodic memory formation and retrieval, focusing on how emotional significance enhances memory vividness and precision using fMRI, eye-tracking, and brain stimulation methods.
Ritchey examines functional connectivity between hippocampal-cortical networks supporting multidimensional memory qualities. Her work has been published in Nature Communications, Journal of Neuroscience, and Trends in Cognitive Sciences.
