Dr Maureen Ellis is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling. Her work focuses on validating operational indicators of consciousness in tropical prawns (Penaeus vannamei) under a project funded by Open Philanthropy from April 2023 to March 2024.
