Dr. Maureen Buckley serves as a Professor at Sonoma State University, where she has been a faculty member since 1998. She currently coordinates the School Counseling (PPS) program and teaches core courses including Research and Evaluation, Pre-Practicum, Counseling Children and Adolescents, and Working with Families in the Schools.

Her scholarship centers on mentoring systems and contextual interventions to promote positive developmental outcomes for youth, informed by extensive clinical experience across school counseling, community mental health, pediatric behavioral medicine, and child trauma settings.
