Prof. Matthias Geissler holds the position of Honorary Professor in the Microwave Systems department at the Ruhr University Bochum, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. His research focuses on advanced microwave and high-frequency technologies, including projects such as KI-ROJAL, PINK (Plasma-induced Nanostructuring and Kinetic Effects), Medici 6GEM (Medical Imaging and Communication), and Pluto+ (Terahertz Applications). His work spans terahertz technology, integrated high-frequency sensors, and photonics, with applications in medical engineering and energy systems.
