Mattia Galimberti is a Research Fellow at the University of Bergamo, Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on sustainability, servitization, and circular economy strategies in the steel and manufacturing sectors. Collaborating with Tenova’s R&D and STIIMA-CNR, he develops business models that integrate environmental, economic, and social benefits for industries. He teaches courses on industrial plant design and simulation for Master’s programs in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering. His work emphasizes lifecycle management, digital transformation, and sustainable production practices.
Education: M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (2021, University of Bergamo), with a thesis on assembly line optimization for tractor cabs. Prior to his current role, he held a research grant focused on production planning simulation for industrial machinery.
