Matthias Vignon

Matthias Vignon is an Assistant Professor and Statutory Lecturer at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), affiliated with the Department of Biology within the UFR Sciences & Techniques. He is also part of the INRA UMR 1224 ECOBIOP in St-Pée/Nivelle, France. His research focuses on behavioral ecology, parasitology, and the ecological impacts of invasive species, particularly using fish otoliths to study environmental histories and life history traits. He holds a PhD in Ecological and Evolutionary Parasitology from Pierre & Marie Curie University (2008) and has contributed to over 25 peer-reviewed publications since 2008.
