Matthias Veit is a Professor and Vocal Correpetition specialist at the University of Music and Theatre Rostock. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Franz Grundheber, Giora Feidman, and Angela Denoke, and worked with international figures like Elly Ameling and Felicity Lott through masterclasses and festivals. Since 1999, he has taught at multiple German music institutes and produced acclaimed recordings, including the complete songs of Peter Cornelius and the CD 'Permanence' with Michaela Schuster. His 2022 book Der gespürte Ton explores phenomenological approaches to singing and piano-playing. He is also a visual artist, honored as 'Artist of the Year 2016' by the Kulturstiftung Marienmünster.
