Matthias Strohn is a Visiting Professor in Military Studies at the University of Buckingham's School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Head of Historical Analysis at the Centre for Historical Analysis and Conflict Research (CHACR), the British Army's strategic think tank. He holds a commission in the German Army and leads the German military delegation in the UK (R). A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and member of the British Commission for Military History, Strohn specializes in 20th-century war studies, focusing on World Wars, command, doctrine development, and battlefield application.
