Matthias Schmidt

Prof. Dr. Matthias Schmidt is a Professor of Business Administration at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik and Managing Director of the Institut für werteorientierte Unternehmensführung (IWU Berlin). He co-founded the Consulting Akademie Unternehmensethik (2003) and the Transatlantische Doktorandenakademie für Unternehmensverantwortung (2009), focusing on ethical leadership and corporate responsibility. He holds a Diplom from Universität des Saarlandes (1994), a PhD in Philosophy from TU Kaiserslautern (2000), and coaching certification (2009). His research emphasizes ethical leadership, corporate responsibility, and innovation in diverse societies.
