Dr. Matthias Eibauer is a Senior Scientist at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Zurich (UZH), working in Prof. Ohad Medalia's lab since 2015. He previously served as a Postdoc in the same lab (2011–2015) and completed his Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry (2007–2011), specializing in Biophysics. He holds a Physics degree from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU, 2002–2007). He teaches the module BCH 630: Protein Crystallography and Electron Microscopy at UZH's Faculty of Science.
