Matthias Doepke is a Professor of Economics and Nicholas Kaldor Chair in Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), where he also serves as PhD Placement Director. He previously held the Gerald F. and Marjorie G. Fitzgerald Professorship in Economic History at Northwestern University. His expertise spans Macroeconomics, Family Economics, and Economic Development, with a focus on parenting styles, gender economics, and labor market policies.
