Prof. Dr. Matthias Brauer holds the Chair of Strategic and International Management at the University of Mannheim Business School. His research focuses on strategic transformation processes, sustainable corporate renewal, and organizational practices under dynamic competitive environments. He actively collaborates with national and international academic and industry partners.
- Co-organized the 84th Annual Academic Conference of the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB)
- Published research on organizational supplication in workforce downsizing contexts
Research Interests: Strategic management, corporate transformation, and impression management practices. His work addresses how organizations adapt to technological, social, economic, and political changes through structured strategic processes.
Collaborations: Maintains partnerships with both academic institutions and corporate entities like Südzucker and Hilti Corporation. Hosted fireside chats and industry-focused events through the Mannheim Part-Time MBA program.
