Matthew Zapruder is an Associate Professor in the MFA in Creative Writing program and English Department at Saint Mary's College of California's School of Liberal Arts. He is a critically acclaimed poet, author of six poetry collections and two prose books, including Why Poetry and Story of a Poem. As Editor at Large at Wave Books, he curates contemporary poetry, prose, and translations.
