Matthew Winslade is the Associate Dean, Research for the Faculty of Arts and Education at Charles Sturt University. With over 25 years in Health and Physical Education (HPE) and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), he holds a Senior Fellow HEA title and has led significant initiatives such as the Ambassador Schools Research Centre. His research focuses on WIL, teacher education, intercultural competency, and school-university partnerships, with collaborations in Fiji and Australia.
He has authored six books, including the award-winning *Teaching Quality Health and Physical Education*, and received the 2022 Charles Sturt Excellence Award for Research. His work spans mental health programs (e.g., Head Strong research with Black Dog Institute), sun protection policies (SunSmart initiative), and global citizenship through international outreach programs.
