Matthew Williams, MD, is an Associate Professor of Surgery (Cardiac) at Yale School of Medicine and surgical director of the Yale Medicine Structural Heart Disease Program. Specializing in valvular heart disease and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), he focuses on personalized care and minimally invasive approaches. His work addresses healthcare disparities in cardiac interventions, including access to treatments like TAVR for patients in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
