Dr. Matthew Weeg is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Southern Utah University (SUU). He specializes in neurobiology, sensory systems, and undergraduate education. With over ten years of teaching experience, he has taught at institutions including Colorado State University and Penn State Altoona before joining SUU in 2011. Weeg is also the Associate Director of SUU's Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning, promoting teaching excellence. His research focuses on topics like fish auditory systems, plant effects on human cardiovascular systems, and vertebrate physiology.
