Matthew Vivirito

Matthew Vivirito serves as a Senior Lecturer and Digital Fabrication & Design Technician in the Art & Design Department at the Pack School of the Arts, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His role focuses on teaching within the Design & Visual Communication Studios, emphasizing digital fabrication techniques.

His academic credentials are:

• BA in Art History, University of Colorado Boulder

Vivirito's artistic research centers on material exploration, memory, and site-specific interventions. His diverse body of work responds to the environments he has inhabited, ranging from the western United States to Milwaukee. Notable projects include "Framework" (2024), featured in the New York Times and Hyperallergic as part of the Wormfarm Institute’s Farm/Art Dtour.
