Matthew Oliver

Matthew Oliver is a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney's Discipline of Emergency Medicine within the Central Clinical School. He is an Emergency Physician at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a member of the University's Emergency Medicine team. His research focuses on Trauma Research and Critical Care, with a particular emphasis on ECMO, shock management, and trauma triage protocols.

Key research interests include extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), vasopressor use in shock, and optimizing trauma care pathways. His work spans international collaborations, including a role as an International Research Fellow at Los Angeles County Hospital and the University of Southern California (LAC+USC).
