Dr. Joseph E. Tonna, MD, MS, FCCM, FACEP, is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He serves as Section Head of Cardiothoracic Critical Care and Associate Director of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Services, with previous experience as Medical Director of the Cardiovascular ICU where he continues clinical practice.
