Matthew Macaulay

Matthew Macaulay is a Lecturer in Fine Art at Wrexham University, teaching on the BA Fine Art and MA Painting programmes. As a curator, researcher, and practicing painter, he bridges academic and artistic practice. He holds a PhD (awarded 2021) from an unspecified institution, with a thesis titled Shifting teaching practices of non-representational painters in British higher education 1975–2005.
