Matthew Hynam

Matthew Hynam is a Senior Lecturer in Architectural Design Thinking at the University of the West of England within the Department of Architecture and the Built Environment. He is a UK Registered Architect and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

His doctoral work 'Design leaps: Divergent thinking techniques across media for architectural design' established foundational frameworks for media agency in architectural creativity.

He teaches final-year design studios for BA(Hons) Interior Architecture and Master of Architecture programs while coordinating the "Architecture Talks!" lecture series with Dr. Sophia Banou, featuring innovative approaches to architectural practice and research.
