Dr. Matthew Haught is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Journalism and Strategic Media at the University of Memphis. He holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina and degrees from Marshall University. His research focuses on visual communication, technology, and media education. He has served in leadership roles such as Assistant Chair, overseeing academic advising and strategic planning for over 350 students.
