Matthew Hall is a Professor at Cornell University with affiliations in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management. He serves as Director of the Cornell Population Center (CPC), the Program on Applied Demographics (PAD), and the MPA Program. His research spans immigration, racial/ethnic inequality, population dynamics, and demographic methodologies.

His work addresses unauthorized migration, Latino student growth, housing segregation, intensified immigration enforcement, immigration status and child development, and data science tools for demographic estimation. Selected publications appear in journals including Social Forces, Social Problems, and Sociological Science. Professor Hall's research also examines racial discrimination in U.S. housing markets and evolving demographic patterns.
