Matthew Gibson

Matthew Gibson is an Assistant Lecturer in Psychology at Queen Margaret University's Psychology, Sociology and Education Division. He holds an MRes (Distinction) and BSc (Hons) from QMU, where his research focused on experimental forensic psychology and auditory cognition. As an Affiliate member of the Centre for Applied Social Science, his work bridges psychological theory and applied contexts.

Research Interests: Gibson specializes in cognitive psychology with emphasis on auditory processing disruptions (irrelevant sound effect) and forensic psychology applications.
