معرفی
Dr. Matthew Dunn is a Senior Academic Fellow at the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, The University of Sydney. He is affiliated with the Clean Combustion Laboratory and the Net Zero Institute. His research focuses on combustion science, particularly in turbulent flames, soot formation, and alternative fuels. Dunn holds a BE and PhD in Engineering.
Research Interests: Combustion dynamics, flame stability, emissions control, soot evolution, and renewable energy applications. Current projects include studies on ammonia-H2-CH4 flames, CO2 dilution effects, and autoignition kernels in turbulent flames.
Teaching: AMME2200 Thermodynamics and Fluids, AMME5200 Foundations of Thermodynamics and Fluids, MECH4255 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Grants: Includes projects on liquid fragment measurements (2022), combustion-based atomization (2020), and soot nanoparticle dynamics (2016). Collaborators include Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and the Australian Research Council.
Labs/Teams: Clean Combustion Laboratory, member of The Net Zero Institute.
