Matthew Demers

Matthew Demers is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Guelph, within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. His research spans Mathematical Imaging, focusing on fractal-based methods like LIFSM for image processing (denoising, watermarking), and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, particularly addressing math preparedness through initiatives like the Warmup Test in calculus courses.
