Dr. Matthew Colloff is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Fenner School of Environment & Society, Australian National University. With a PhD in medical entomology from the University of Glasgow and extensive research experience at CSIRO, he focuses on climate change adaptation, floodplain ecology, and environmental decision-making. He is an accredited Executive Coach and member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists.
His research integrates ecology with social science to address water resource management in the Murray-Darling Basin, adaptation pathways for climate change, and transformative adaptation strategies. Key interests include ecosystem services, biodiversity conservation, and the interplay between values, rules, and knowledge in environmental governance.
