Matthew Barry Johnson is a Professor at the Psychology Department of John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). He authored a seminal 2021 Oxford University Press book on wrongful sexual assault convictions, earning an 'Outstanding Academic Title' award. His research includes developing the 'Interrogation Expectations' instrument to assess Miranda rights comprehension biases.
