Matthew B. Karush is a Professor in the Department of History at George Mason University. He specializes in modern Latin American history, with a focus on twentieth-century Argentina and cultural history. Karush earned his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1997 and has published extensively on labor politics, mass culture, and popular music in Argentina.
