Matteo Rubinato is a Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Aston University's College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield (2015) and degrees from the University of Padova, Italy. His research focuses on urban flooding, environmental fluid mechanics, and climate change impacts on water systems. Key areas include pollutant transport during extreme weather, sustainable drainage systems, and resilience strategies for coastal and urban environments.
