Matt Smith is a Reader in Digital Learning Contexts at the University of Wolverhampton, with a focus on Digital and Lifelong Learning through his role at the Centre for Research in Education and Social Transformation (CREST). He coordinates the UNESCO Chair on Innovative Informal Digital Learning in Disadvantaged and Development Contexts, and serves as a Senior Lecturer in Primary Teacher Education. His work spans Global South digital education initiatives, decolonising research methodologies, and pedagogy innovation.
